About the teacher

Hello!  My name is Carrie and I've been teaching music lessons since 1998.  I am thrilled that you are considering lessons for yourself or your child!  

I believe in a well rounded music education.  In addition to teaching the instrument basics, I also teach theory, music appreciation and music history.  I believe that making lessons fun is the best way to learn.

I hold a degree in Fine Arts.  I am a member of my local music teachers' association as well as the state association and national association.  Because I am a member of all three, my students have learning and performance opportunities that they wouldn't otherwise have.
